Located in the North East of the Island, this countryside location offers the perfect opportunity to explore the quieter side of Ibiza.  Ideal for those who love hiking and cycling as there are many different routes dedicated and clearly marked for you to explore at your leisure.  And….For all you sun worshipers out there, you will be glad to hear, it is only a short 5 minute walk to Es Figueral -the local beach.

The famous Hippy Market at Las Dalias is just a stones throw away in the Village of San Carlos and is held every Saturday from 10am and every Monday evening from 7pm.

One of the areas local bars – Bar Anita – is steeped in historical importance and offers tapas throughout the day.  For those of you brave enough to sit at the tables  out on the pavement, there is the added bonus of being able to play chicken with the cars rounding the bend.  Only recommended for the brave!

Es Figueral  is also home to Es Figueral Pizza – a quaint traditional Italian restaurant which serves one of the best and most authentic pizzas on the island.  Opening hours are from Midday – 4pm and from 7pm – Midnight.  Across the road, is a quaint little cocktail and shisha bar called FEEL which also serves some great food at reasonable prices.

The beach also offers some other choices for your dinning pleasure.  Alocs is a traditional Spanish family run restaurant right on the beach.  The tables are nestled under an incredible twisted topiary of trees, making it and endless source of entrainment for the little ones (and the odd big one here and there). Opposite, is the Las Dalias Beach Bar serving modern fusion cuisine from the terrace overlooking the sea also making it the perfect spot for a cheeky sundowner.

Santa Eulalia is ten minutes drive away, and San Carlos is 5 minutes. San Joan will take approximately 15 minutes as will Sta Gertudis.

San Carlos – small but very well-known village north of Santa Eulalia, popular with alternative culture.
Santa Eulalia – family seaside town
San Juan – the last “real” village in Ibiza – market on Sundays
Santa Gertudis -charming village lies on the geographical middle point of the island
